Q #443 - A casualty has an injured arm. They can move it freely but it's bleeding. Why should you get them to keep it in a raised position?
If a casualty is bleeding heavily, raise the limb to a higher position. This will help to reduce the blood flow. Before raising the limb, you should make sure that it isn't broken.

To stop them touching other people
It will help to reduce the blood flow
